My duck soup recipe..
-
Saturday, April 19, 2008 2:11 PM
I wanted something dry I could store and make in little batches as I need/wanted it. After reading a TON of recipes I came up with this. 1/4c Dehydrated Beef Liver 1/4c Dehydrated Chicken breast 1/2c Dehydrated Duck 2c Kibble Mix (ours is Enova Cat, Enova Ferret, CA Naturals Cat & Zupreem) 2 scoops Baby formula (much easier to digest than milk or cream) 1T Bone Meal Powder Put the first 4 ingredients in a blender or food processor and grind to powder. Mix in next 2 ingredients. Store in an air tight container. To make: Put ½-1/4c in a bowel and add ½-1/4 jar Gerber baby meat and warm Chicken or Beef broth to desired consistency let soak and add more broth if needed. To switch it up you can also add Ferretone, Ferretvite, olive oil, scrambled or boiled egg, A/D and cooked ground meat. (it’s not recommended to feed raw meat with kibble or cooked foods). Note: The dehydrated meats are dog and cat treats/jerky I got at our local pet store.
