Sumatriptan 50mg

Sumatriptan 50mg is used to treat the symptoms of migraine headaches, which include intense, throbbing headaches followed by nausea or a sensitivity to light and noise. The group of medications known as serotonin receptor agonists includes sumatriptan.
 
The FDA has given this drug approval to treat adult migraines, aura or not.
 
A neurological* disorder called migraine produces intense, protracted headaches. Nausea, vomiting, and heightened sensitivity to light and sound are often present in conjunction with these.
 
Auras may occur either before or during a headache for certain individuals. Auras may alter your eyesight, causing you to perceive blind areas, zigzag lines, or light flashes. Speaking difficulties and tingling feelings are some effects of auras.
 
The medication sumatriptan is used to treat migraines. It is not use to stop migraines from occurring.
