Students with less grades also show these signs when they struggle with attention deficit hyperactivity disorderattention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The condition shows a recurring pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity or impulsivity that interferes with daily work schedule and functioning. 
You might take the kid to a doctor or medical professional after you experience them showing these reactions in everyday life for a period of above 6 months. 3
Fails to give close attention to details and often makes silly mistakes with schoolwork or assignments, or with other activities. 
Wants to do the next task without finishing the current tasks
Has attention elsewhere when you talk to them
Stays up late at night (insomnia anxiety) and cannot fall asleep
Has trouble organizing and managing tasks
Forgets things and important messages to deliver 
Hates things like puzzles, chess, and mental games that require a higher amount of concentration
Often gets side-tracked when doing schoolwork or homework or other activities
If the frequency of these things happening is too much to bear then consult with a child specialist or psychiatrist before taking concrete steps moving forward.
ADHD diagnosis is possible by yourself after observing these symptoms.
