Very annoying behaviors
-
Thursday, March 07, 2019 11:12 PM
About a year ago I bought two ferrets, instantly loved them. Decided to buy two more. (Note I bought them from previous owners not a pet store) when I got them home they seemed like theyd fit right in. Well that wasn't the case. The male has some very annoying behaviors. For starters. It seems like he never sleeps, he makes so much noise it keeps me awake for hours. Second he's ripped apart 3 hammocks now. He also likes to throw litter everywhere. Also he digs in the food dish, doesnt matter if it's full or empty. He also has a habit of climbing the side of the cage and basically jumping off. Anyone got any tips?? I was told from the previous owner he's around a year and a half old.

You could try giving him timeouts but all in all I have found that they usually out grow the quirky stuff.
