gentleman's op advice

Hi :)
My lovely boy Cujo is going to the vets on the 7th of sep to have his love plums removed
but I'm very confused as the vets told me not to starve him before he goes in but google and my friend have both said he isn't supposed to have anything before the op

HEEELP!!!

it's not "invasive" in that they won't cut him open, but the anesthesia might leave him a little woozy.  4 hour fast should be enough.  

THE DOOKS OF HAZARD

When I took my furkids in for spayed or neutering.  I was told fast them for 4 hours before surgery.
