It should be fine. It looks similar to Yesterday's News, which is a favorite litter material over here in the USA

As far as using hay. I would make sure its not dusty.....get good quality hay. Some ferrets may be sensitive to hay. With Hay you have more work, that needs to be cleaned out. It may not be cost effect. If you are using hay for them to sleep in. I would go with some used baby blankets, or blankets. This way you can wash them weekly. I am not fan of recycle newspaper pellet. They smell more...I don't like the smell of wet pellets. That just me. I use wooden pellets for my litter. Just suggestion. I hope this helps

We actually use pine pellet horse bedding too. It's much cheaper and is better at odor control. It's kiln dried so the aromatic oils are removed. The recycled paper pellets are safe and, as I said, many ferret lovers over here use it. There is a lot of confusing information out there that implies that any pine products are bad. I would avoid pine shavings unless kiln dried, and any cedar bedding for ferrets.

However, the problem is that it is a bandaid on the real problem of poor sleep if used regularly. If CPAP machines do not address your sleep apnea concern, then you are masking the underlying problem of dealing with your sleep apnea if you use modafinil all the time https://buyarmodafinil.com/buy-smart-pills/artvigil-150-mg-online/
