Foster-Mom Q: How to Tell Age of My Ferret? & More
-
Sunday, October 11, 2015 10:20 PM
Hello! I am fostering a little boy, I was just curious as to tell how old he is? Right now he is all skin and bones but is happy and we are in the process of gaining weight. I know he is under 1 year(probably also under 6months) by teeth but I'm not sure how else to tell. Also, good foods for fattening up? Also on how to teach him not to bite so hard? Thank you, here is a picture of his cute self!

He looks very young. I don't think it will take long for him to gain weight. Kits are full of energy and they can eat! I would start imprinting him on different types of food. For example: Kibbles, raw meat/bone, soup. tooth development http://trickytrixie.tripod.com/teeth/teeth.htm > Also on how to teach him not to bite so hard? Be patience with him. Tell him no. Use a stuff animals to play with him. It's kit thing....hopely he will grown out of it.
