escapeing woozel

My little girl hiei is so small she can sqweeze her way out if every cage iv gotten. I can't afford to get another cage. Any ideas on how to escape proof the one I have? I was gonna try chicken wire around the cage but I'm afraid she will get stuck between it and the cage. I HAve a living world XL ferret cage. Help o.o

If you do chicken wire make sure it's small mesh and zip tie it to the bars so she can't get between. A pic would help.

Tryed the mesh with zip ties. My other fuzz butt chii shredded it. Luckily non was eaten in the process. So we moved on to small chicken wire.
