raw mixin it up :)

So I've been reading through trying to get a real handle on the best way to feed my kits. I have 2 boys...50 days old-ish. I've read they are tolerant and not so picky when they are young with food. They are eating really good ferret food that is mashed up (partially) with warm water. I just hate to see how they eat and poop most it out...then I start reading about raw. Ok so the question, can I add some raw pieces of chicken into their diet. Like during the day they have the kibble and then at night I hand feed them some raw meat (more as treats)(or one mice once a week or a month)?? Or do I need to do one or the other? I don't have time to prep raw meat all the time and get the additives is expensive to ship to me here in japan. Thanks guys!!

My furkids get raw meat/soup in the AM/PM.  They have access to no grain kibbles (nature variety instinct) 24 hours a day.

We also feed soup made with ground kibble and raw ground poultry morning and evening, and kibbles available all day.  A mouse a week would be fine.  When feeding all raw, you have to be careful so they get a good balance.  You can also see if they will take raw egg.  They can split 1 or 2 of those a week.  When introducing raw, I've had better luck if was at least room temp or a little warmer.
