as many of you know we just go a ferret last wee. His name is farro and he is about 3 months old. We love him he is so cute and fun! I do have a question though. He dances a lot when we are playing but he doesn't duke much he only does it a little bit once in a while mostly in the morning when we first let him out of his cage but not really in the evening when we let him out is it just because he gets let out several times a day and by the end of the day the excitement is just less? We are new to this and just wan home to be happy :)

Some ferrets are more vocal then others. Two of my ferrets will dook, when they are playing...it's not all time. It seems when they are really excited they will dook. They might dook, if they are upset with another ferret. My little black sable....when she got mad at one of the other ferrets in the household. She would chase that ferret thru out the house and chatter away as she ran after the little one. It was funny to see.
