Male Ferret Having Trouble Walking!!!

We have a 5 year old male Ferret named Smokie. Smokie is having trouble walking on all fours, we have taken him to the vet twice already and they have no idea what is wrong. They have done glucose tests and they come out normal. He eats and drinks normally, his hydration is good. The only problem he has is getting to the litter box, we are using doggie pads.

have you done xrays?  it could be an injury.

No. When I took him in yesterday the vet felt him and Smokie did not seem like he was in pain anywhere. When he is out is dragging himself all over the floor.

sounds like insulinoma to me. Did you fast your ferret for the blood glucose test?

what was his glucose number?  eating and drinking normally is a good sign.  A spinal injury or tumor could cause paralysis in his rear legs.  Does he use them at all?

His glucose number was 107. He is dragging his rear legs. The vet put him on the floor and he feel over.

So sorry your little one is going through this. I would have an xray done to check for injury or tumors.
