Using Rescue Remedy

Hi, everyone.

I saw something online a few weeks ago about something called Rescue Remedy being used to calm down ferrets. I normally wouldn't use something like that, but I'll be going out of town for eight days over the holidays. I have a friend who'll be stopping in every day to check up on my little Luna - she'll feed her, freshen up her water, and most days take her out for a bit. But, there may be days where she won't have time to take Luna out to play, and overall Luna will get much less time out of the cage than she's used to.

Has anyone used Rescue Remedy to keep ferrets less active for a week or so when they know they won't be able to spend a lot of time with them? Are there any drawbacks? Any thoughts or experiences would be welcome.
