-

Do Ferrets get along with rabbits and hamsters. I won't have them play together, just their cages close. Thanks, Ian

I personally wouldn't have them anywhere near each other. The ferret would see them as something to eat or at least kill. I would be worried it might be stressful to all three. Just my opinion.

Id say MAYBE rabbits... supervised and if you get the ferrets young and they learn that it's a pet not food. I would not trust with a hamster.

When I volunteered at the humane society, they kept all of the small pets in the same room. A couple times when I had ferrets playing on the floor, a couple of them somehow managed to jump high enough (probably 18 inches) to pull themselves into the rabbit cage. The Rabbits were not pleased. Ferrets are very tenacious, and if there was a way for them to get to a hamster, they would find it.

I would keep the rabbits out of the ferrets area too not just the hamsters. I had rabbits and whenever they smelled a ferret nearby they were upset very upset so I ended up keeping them in another room far from the ferrets room. Rabbits are prey for the ferrets.
