Cryptorchidism?
-
Monday, October 20, 2014 6:04 PM
I have two beautiful young male ferrets, they are about six months old now, and I'm a bit worried because I would have expected their testicles to have dropped by now, and they haven't on either of them. They also don't smell at all, which isn't at all what I would expect from a boy ferret. Am I expecting it too soon? Should I be worried? Is there anything that can cause them to not drop them?

My boys drop their testicles - 9 - 12 months. Or they may drop the spring following birth. When they go into season is when they start producing the extra oil and start slimy everything. Don't rush it.....it will come around. I hope this helps
