We saw Jaffa acting a bit odd this morning, staring straight ahead and rocking back and forth, almost like he was getting ready to vomit. He hadn't eaten yet so we tested his glucose and it was 38. So now we have 2 on pred and Jaffa needing another Des implant.

Our big boy Otter hid his insulinoma well, too. As did Rocky - for some reasons those snuggly boys are good at tricking us. As you know, the good diet you are feeding him is one of the reasons it was missed (more than likely) and also a reasons Jaffa will be with us for a while, too.

We just retested Jaffa when he woke up and he's up to 77 after 9 days on pred. Alice is at 76 and she's been off of it for 4 days, so we're pretty sure her low reading was due to not eating, but Jaffa will stay on the pred. Both of them are looking and acting much better, but now Prissy appears to have the respiratory cold/flu that Pandy and Abita had a month ago. And vacation is now V minus 2 days and counting.
