Canidae Grain Free

Has anyone else switched to this food? I mean, look at the ingredients! I get an 8 lb bag for $25 bucks at Petco, and because I usually have $5 in rewards I usually get it for $20. The 4lb bag is only $15. My babies love it so I thought I'd share. 

Chicken, chicken meal, turkey meal, potatoes, peas, chicken fat, lamb meal, natural flavor, menhaden fish meal, minerals (zinc proteinate, manganese proteinate, copper proteinate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, manganous oxide, sodium selenite), vitamins (vitamin E supplement, niacin, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin A supplement, biotin, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, folic acid), choline chloride, DL-methionine, taurine, dried enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried lactobacillus casei fermentation product, dried lactobacillus plantarum fermentation product, dried trichoderma longibrachiatum fermentation extract, mixed tocopherols (a source of vitamin E) 

My only concern is the peas.  I wish they had to list percentages.  Meat being 4 of the first 6 ingredients is good.  Is this going to be part of a mix?

I dont think id feed it to mine because of the peas. which type is it? theres several grain free by them

It's the lower edge of the blue tier of MoreDooks. Protein and fat are in average ranges. 

As others have mentioned, the only concern is the peas (5th ingredient) 
High pea content has been tied with bladder stones. Since peas are 5th we can assume that their presence is low, but if your ferret is predisposed to stones, I'd avoid this food. Other than that, looks filine to me. 

I'd recommend mixing with a green tier food such as Orijen, Wellness Core, or Natures Variety.
