Dry/waterless shampoos

whats your thoughts on them? can u use them more often then u can the traditional bath for those who think they "smell"? (mine get one when they get into something or when i break down their cage and clean it. once since April) I keep seeing more and more of the dry/waterless shampoos and i got curious.

Can't  help you here....I don't give baths to my ferrets.  (unless they get into some really dirty or sticky).
 
Ferrets are clean animals and they can take care of them self.  They really don't needs baths.
 
If  your ferret has a odor...then you need to look at your ferret's environment.
 
Such as:
 
What type of food are your feeding
How often you clean the cage and litter box
How often you switch out the bedding (hammocks, sleep sacks, etc.)
 
 
Years ago, I purchased the dry shampoo for my horses.  It was a waste of money.....I give the dry shampoo's thumbs down.

Who thinks they smell?  A lot of believe that because they had them and didn't know how to reduce the odors (see wenminster's post) or never had any and believe the myth.  
As far as bathing, we've been bathing up to twice a week lately trying to defeat fleas and they don't smell any more now than before the flea attack, when they were bathed no more than every 6 weeks or so.  I never bathed mine at all until I married another ferret person who bathed hers regularly just to make sure they were clean, and to check for fleas while they are wet.

THE DOOKS OF HAZARD

mine dont smell. unless u count smelling like rice or the laundry detergent. my landlord when i first talked about getting one and some other people i know and even the lady in the pet store trying to sell them and my fours previous owner. she says they smell too much and they were too much work.
