Our little dude, Smokie, is one of those ferrets that sorta hangs around in the background, no drama, but playful. He hasn't been out much, but the last week I've been taking him along on errands. He's the only ferret that doesn't just wander around the car for 5 minutes and go to sleep. He sits on my lap looking out the window, and he's happy to sit on my shoulder to check out the action. Dar grabbed some pics today.   Yoshi has done a little ride-along, but only hopped up when he was ready for nappies.

Thats so cool, I have'n let the ferrets lose in my car because im afraid they'll go in under behind the steering wheel. Do you have any experience with this? Ive let them loose with my roomate in the passenger seat so she can keep an eye on them. Make sure they don't get you for distracted driving!

dar24 was with me this trip. As ai saidm the others just run around ethe car for a bit then chill, usually in the trash bag, lol. They can go between the passenger and driver's feet, behind the console. Ferret proofing goes for cars, too! One of the boys (Yoshi, I think) tried to climb into the vent once. He's one you have to watch.
