New ferret owner. Housing question
-
Tuesday, July 04, 2017 9:05 PM
Hi, so I'm interested in repurposing an old hutch into a ferret home. I know I need rabbit wire but that's about it. I've been looking on Pinterest but still can't find a detailed enough diy. I'm looking to see if anyone has any tips tricks or directions. I need to know what I need to put on or over the wood to make it not porous and basically everything else there is to know. Tools, materials, etc. First time ferret owner and I only have the one but his cage is the one the pet store starts you with and it's looking a little sad. I work long hours so when I'm not home I want him to have plenty of room. Any advice appreciated. Thanks! :)

Hi. You'll want to use exterior paint. Easiest to attach the wire with a staple gun. Will this hutch be indoors or outdoors?
