Hardened Poop stuck on toe? - Wednesday, October 07, 2015 2:43 PM
Hey everyone,

So it's been about a month since bringing our little girl home and we noticed her nails were getting long so alas, time to trim them. We noticed on 2 of her little fingers/nails there was some hardened poop? We tried to take a warm damp paper towel to it but it was still hard to get off. Any other suggestions?

My ferrets were never the biggest fans of baths, but occasionally if they'd gotten some poop stuck on their feet or fur, I'd make a warm tub of shallow water for them, place some bath towels in the bottom, and let them sit in the water for 2 to 3 minutes. By then the poop was usually soft enough to easily wash off.
