Can ferrets get "Pink Eye"? - Thursday, March 26, 2009 3:08 PM
My 6 year old son has viral pink eye and from what the Dr. said, it spreads the same way a cold or flu does. Since I know that ferrets can catch the flu from us, does anyone know if the pink eye virus and go to ferrets?

He's stuck home and I feel bad not letting him play with the furbies, but, all i need is a fuzzie outbreak...

Thank you ACWN!!!

I dont know, but I would be using hand santizer on your son or making him wash his hands like crazy until he's over it. You dont need to catch it, and the fuzzies dont need to catch it!

Just had the same question. Hammy had been all over me the night before. Just keeping checking their eyes and pray is all I can offer!

BTW, mine didn't get it, so that's good.
