When our male ferret 3 1/2 years got up today he was shaking like he was cold.  He was in his favorite sweat pants and just shaking.  I picked him up and he was warm so I just cuddled him for a bit.  I put him down in his bed he then got up and moved around and stopped shaking.  I am wondering if that is something I should be worried about.  We also noticed old age soars that smaller animals get on him.  Man you finally get use to quite a bit of the ferret behavior and now we have to change it up to new problems.  Although he still poops by the box and not in it quite often, never could get that one fixed.

Shivers is a thing ferrets do, especially when they first wake up.  I would say no worries unless it's constant.
