lately our ferret farro has been having loos poop. when we got him I never really thought to pay attention to his poop but I have done some learning. we have been feeding him wysong epigen 90 which I guess they changed formulas and according to the amazon reviews it makes there poop loose now. but we have been mixing the wysong, kaytee fiesta (which he will not eat unless its all he has), and zupreem premium dieet (which seems to be his favorite. our issue is that how can we rule out other things that may be making them loose? sometimes they are a little mucousy too. our thoughts that could be causing this is rabies shot last week food it wasnt untill about a day or 2 after I noticed his poop but I hadnt been paying much attention to it then but I know now. any thoughts or suggestions would be great. we are thinking about mixing zupreem and "GO! chicken duck and turkey" cat food together but we are open to suggestions thanks :)

I use Dr Foster and Smith or Totally Ferret food. I have used Zupreem (not grain free. Thought to cause kidney stones) but it makes their poopy stink. For loose poop I add a little bit of pure pumpkin in their soupy. Gives them fiber and firms them up.
