Housing Advice

Hello everyone! I am completely new to owning ferrets and I wanted to ask some questions about housing. I have a male ferret who is about 3 months old. His name is Hobbes and he is currently living in the Living World Habitat rabbit cage. It's large enough for him now... I work from home so he's free range during the day. However, I am looking to upgrade to a Ferret or Critter Nation double cage. - Which Nation cage is generally preferred among ferret owners and why? - How many Ferrets could comfortably live in a double ferret cage? - Do you guys wait for sales to buy the large cages? I've tried craigslist with no responses...they have amazing prices on them. - Where do you like to purchase your cages and accessories? I am not yet aware of good trustworthy sites for ferret stuff. - I tend to travel between Austin and Houston, is there a good comfortable setup for ferrets in travel? Sorry for all the questions but thank you for looking!

I love my FN (double) cage. I have 6 ferrets in the cage. My kids only sleep/poop/eat in their cage. I purchased my cage from ferret.com site. Do search for a coupon, you might be able to find one on line. I hope this helps
