Just got a new ferret a month ago at Petco. He was 7 weeks old and now going on 11 weeks. He acts aggressive towards food.. ANY kind of food including human food (veggies, meat, ect.) If he smells something cooking he will start running around the kitchen like crazy and begging like a dog. Also you can't hand feed him anything or he will literally bite your finger and latch on till it bleeds. If you get near him while eating he starts squeaking like someone is taking it from him and my other ferret is nowhere around. I've stopped feeding him pieces of food because I'm worried this will continue. Has anyone experienced this problem and is there anything I can do to stop it from happening? Thanks.
