New ferret owner

Hi everyone! I got my very first ferret guy a couple of days ago. I've been trying to do as much reasearch as possible so I can provide him with the best care possible. His name is Will o' wisp, or just wisp for short. I saw him on craigslist for free and having always wanting a ferret, I took him in. It was a big difference from what I was expecting, but I'm so glad that I have him in my life now. He has been such a joy to be around, and is a complete clown. Well, anyway, I joined this forum to gain knowledge from the real experts, since I don't trust my local pet stores' knowledge. To be honest, most of them know nothing about caring for any pet. Anyway, I'm so looking forward to learning more about how to care for my little wisp, and getting to know everyone.
