Hi everyone my name is brittney my lovely ferrets name is Bosley and is a very picky eater he's 3 months old I bought him from a friend of mine and she fed him nothing but cat food and am trying to steer away from cat food but he won't touch ferret food or any kind of treats to try and train him...  Please help I'm a new ferret mommy and am getting worried. 

Have you tried mixing the cat food with the ferret food. It's better to slowly switch them over. Gradually have less and less cat food and more ferret food. Eventually it will just be ferret food. What kind of ferret food do you have? At his age he should switch fairly easy. Also don't worry if he won't eat treats. Some of mine won't. The others like NBones. I have also given Ferretone. Most like it. Don't do Ferretvite though. Has a lot of sugar in it and sugar is very bad foir them.
