Well, my ferret was diagnosed with adrenal disease. The vet said the best bet would be the deslorelin implant. Cut to 2 months later, they are still on back order.

I was told they'd be received in early Feb. Now i'm being told "we have no idea when they'll be in".

My ferret certainly isn't getting any better. He's my first ferret so I have no idea what to do now.

Would it be wise to try another treatment method WHILE waiting to find the deslorelin? I heard of melatonin shots and all that. 

Some advice would greatly be appreciated. :(

I give the melatonin tablets. I usually pick it up at Wal-mart
