Some bonding :D - Tuesday, January 27, 2015 6:21 PM
So over Christmas I took the ferrets with us to visit my mom for a few days. This was the first trip we made with Rambo, but the others had travelled a few times already with us. He was a mess on the way down (only about a 2 hour drive) and was just very anxious and busy in the cage. The other two slept.

He was one that could never keep still, we got him in September and when you pick him up he just squirms and wouldn't stay still for even a second and would immediately want down.

On the way home I felt bad because he was running up and down the wall of the travel cage so I took him out and I had a pillow on my lap. Damned if he didn't just lay there against me for the entire trip. He got a little fussy for like maybe 2 times for a second or two then just went right back to laying on me and cuddling my hands and letting me stroke his head and neck.

Since then he's been affectionate, he lets us hold him for short times (maybe 30 seconds to a minute) and sometimes a little longer if you're stroking his neck. He also tries to lick the insides of your nose which is kind of gross, but whatever. lol.

Feels like a little progress on him finally liking us :D

Picture just because they should all have pictures! He also got hsi new harness and collar, special in a color for him like my other two have. I think it looks nice on his fur. Its burgundy.
