Green Stool - Thursday, December 18, 2014 9:09 PM
My old ferret who passed away, bean, first got ECE or the green slime disease before she got her tumor. When i got home from work today i noticed one of my new babys i bought had pooped a green slime stool. I just noticed it today when i got home for the first time. Their activity or eating hasn't changed its still normal. I know the disease is very contagous to other ferrets, but im asking for anyone with advice please answer asap. i need advice one 1) could the green slime be from any other thing other than ece because she is fearly new and only about 5 months old. Maybe its a change in her eating, like from the treats? also 2) What should i do, take her to the vet? or just watch her activity? please just help me on my advice.

It coukd be something she ate, Meechy had green poop, and that was the sign that tipped me off, I took him to the vet and we found out he had a foriegn body blockage. Green poop is not good, either way. Anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong, but I would say vet visit asap.
