I have two beautiful young male ferrets, they are about six months old now, and I'm a bit worried because I would have expected their testicles to have dropped by now, and they haven't on either of them. They also don't smell at all, which isn't at all what I would expect from a boy ferret.

Am I expecting it too soon? Should I be worried? Is there anything that can cause them to not drop them?

Or they may drop the spring following birth. When they go into season is when they start producing the extra oil and start slimy everything. Don't rush it.....it will come around. I hope this helps
