Is this a viable ferret cage option? if i put rabbit wire on the front and drill holes in each layer, with ramps connecting each. maybe i can even buy some tubes for them

if you find a better size one on this site, please let me know! i only have $150 for the entire cage, inclding rabbit wire and tubing.

you could do it with the first one, but ferrets have litter accidents, and the pee would get into the cheap particle board, eventually ruining it.  and you have to make doors.    As for the second, metal shelf unit, might as well spend a few extra bucks on a ferret nation cage, and skip the extra work and expense.
