Best brush for shedding and grooming? - Sunday, August 24, 2014 4:33 PM
Just wondering what everyone uses for their ferrets fur! I have a small cat brush that doesn't work at all. :(
Any good brush recommendations?
Here is a picture of the brush I use.

I use a Furminator knock off, but a basic flea comb actually works really well for pulling out the undercoat.

Bettas- Kitty, Pip, and Logan
Sun Conure- Kita

I actually use a cat deshedding brush called "FurGoPet."

I've only used it a limited number of times but it did the job. The only downside is that it can brush out way too much fur; for example: Max was shedding out his coat but the brush removed all his shedding fur, and was barely left with any at the end because the new fur did not grow in enough yet.

However, as long as you're gentle with it and don't overdo the brushing, it should work fine. I found it inexpensive too.
