So I very recently got 2 boys. Right now they are living in a ferret nation 181 which is the single level. I love the ferret nations and my chinchillas live in one of the 2 level ones. Im wondering if the single unit will be okay for the 2 boys for a while. I wouldprefer to spend my extra money right now on toys and things for them for playtime. I will start saving up for the add on to get them the second level. Will they be okay in there for 6-8 weeks. They're out twice a day for playtime before I go to work for usually an hour, hour and a half and then 2-3 hours in the evening.

They will be fine in the single level.  Enjoy your fuzzies!

we sleep up to 7 in a double, with hammocks and beds, so they'll be ok.

Just keep an eye out for sales. I got my double level FN for under 100$ shipped from Petsmart on a Sale in early November, just gotta nip it at the right time. Good luck :)
