Hello, I'm Karla from Derbyshire. I have 5 ferrets, Nancy, Vinnie, Willow, Whisper and Jimmy, I also have an EU polecat who lives with them called Bandit, she has a habit of living up to her name too.
I've got 11 years experience with having ferrets, I show them at the Ashfield Ferret Club and sometimes the British Ferret Club as well but not as often. I have bred them a few times and have found kits develop very quickly and rather interestingly compared to most mammals. I also have a YouTube channel which my ferrets are featured on, I'm not going to post a link to it though because some forums treat YouTube links as spam, not sure if this is one of those forums or not so if you want to find my channel, it's the same as my username on here.
I have worked my ferrets and most of them have good prey drives, I havnt recently learnt though that Vinnie is better at hunting rats than hunting rabbits.
I'll explore the forum now and no doubt post some pics as soon as I figure out how.
