Hi all, first time posting here. So its my first time owning ferrets. I initially bought a male albino ferret named Odin, he is currectly almost a year old and somewhat bity. so for a long time he was by himself and I thought he might be lonely so I bought a second ferret name Sif. she is around 6 months now. also none of them are de-sexed. I tried to introduce them numerous times but Odin bites Sif and kind of tries to drag her away and thats when I get worried he might kill her or somethin even though he bites but has never harmed any other animal. Now i recently noticed Sif is getting very HOT and she needs to mate soon (vagina visibly swollen). The issue is im scared if I place them in the same cage Odin might do something to her. asking from you guys is it normal for a male ferret to bite and drag a female ferret away? is he trying to harm her or mate? please let me know what you think. thanks for the help.
