So our lone girl ferret Toki has always been standoffish. She keeps to herself even though our boys love to come hang out with my husband and I and get pets. Toki usually squirms the second you pick her up. 

We've had Toki and Bear a few years now. Toki doesn't usually wany anything to do with me unless I have a treat for her. Today I picked her up because she seemed uncomfortable with the fact she placed herself in between the two kitties. She rolled over and let me pet her neck, chest, and belly for a good while as I cradled her! I was able to flip her over and stroke her head and everything. It was really nice. The first time I have actually felt at all connected to her (obviously I still loved her). So nice :D

Feeling all warm and fuzzy!

Yeah...what a good feeling.
