Growth on eye

Hey guys, since you are knowlegeable and experienced, I would like to ask you to help me identify what this growth on my ferret eye might be. I will be taking her to the vet, but I want to know some info on what it might be. Picture attached. It doesn't seem to bother her at all.

looks to me like a sty - just like humans get if you get some dust or dirt in there - and it gets a lil infected.
I'd imagine a warm compress ( good luck on a squirmy ferret lol) would do the trick but it's a good idea to have the vet take a look in case anitbiotics are in order.

I'd have a vet check it, just in case. I've never seen one on a ferret but Dar says dogs get them, and they can be removed.

Allright. Took the girl to the vet today. Vet said it's a benign cyst on her third eyelid. It doesnt touch the eye. Not to worry about, unless it grows bigger and rubs against her eye. She advised against surgical removal as it required anesthesia, not worth the risk.
