I found this cool ferret first aid kit! I have yet to get my fuzzies (a year or two) but I wanted to buy this kit before it sold out or was stopped being manufactured. But then I thought that medical products may expire.... Thoughts? Link is below.

Hmm, I do't know if you need all that.  Ferrets will not tolerate a bandage, and can squirm out of them in seconds. Most vets don't even bother to bandage them up after major surgery.  Most of those things you should have around the house anyway.

Note: Neosporin is known as ploysporin in Canada, and it's a triple antibiotic ointment.  
Karo is corn syrup, for treating insulinoma seizures, which are uncommon in the first 2 years.
Ferretvite has a lot of sugars, and most knowledgeable ferret owners don't recommend it.
It's a good idea to have plain canned pumpkin and/or petroleum jelly (vaseline) to help with hairballs and suspected blockages.

* duck soup/ jar chicken/turkey broth baby food
*syringes - to be used for med/food   #1 and #3 cc good for meds.  #35cc is good for food.
*scissors
*nail clippers
*styptic powder - stop bleeding  (if you accidentally cut into the quick of their nail)
*children benadryl - bug bit or vaccine reactions
*cotton balls
*pedialyte - helps in rehydration
*pure pumpkin/laxatone/vasaline - hairballs
*karo syrup - helps bring ferret out of a seizure from insulinoma
*glucometer  (optional)
*antibiotic ointment
*peroxide
*isolation/hospital cage
