Hello everyone! I'm from Colorado and I got a ferret just over a month ago. His name is Goliath because he was the largest in the litter! I don't have any pictures yet because he's a little camera shy. I just found this place and I hope these forums will help me become a better ferret owner!

Being a newbie to ferrets.  I suggest purchasing a book called "Ferrets For Dummies" by Kim Schilling.  It's a excellent ferret book and it's a must for all ferret owners.  


First thing I would do, look for a ferret knowledgeable vet in your area.  You will need a vet.  Save your money, ferrets are not cheap animals.   Any questions, please feel free to ask.   We have a great group here.
