My fuzzie is 6 and just had the suprelorin implant. It's been about 2 weeks, her swollen vulva is starting to decrease but there is a little bit of blood on it. I don't know if that's from being so swollen and now that it's going back to normal it's not as stretched or if I should be concerned. Her normal vet doesn't know what to think so he wants me to take her back to the vet that put in the suprelorin implant and that's an hour away. I don't want to go up there for him to say she's fine and have to pay a $60 check up fee. Can anyone give me advice on this?

I think I would call the vet (that did the implant) let them know what you are seeing and if it any concern.  Doesn't hurt to try.

Vet can always call you back with the answer.
