RuneScape - Old as the world's largest food festival - Saturday, December 04, 2021 1:08 AM
Realistic profits start around 15 levels of OSRS gold skill, by cutting into Oak Trees - found in many areas in this game i.e., Lumbridge as they have multiple log drops. After that, you'll continue to progress toward the Yew Tree. Beware, cutting wood even with membership isn't very profitable when with respect to other low effort techniques - for example, oak logs give you around 21k gold per hour, whereas best in slot wood for non-members such as yew logs are about twice as profitable. Even though members have access to magic wood, it's just 130k gold per hours, that's just barely profitable if you compare it with another method for making money, which is restricted only to members. This is what we've included here along with other helpful tips to provide a complete picture of OSRS cash-making, and also to inform you that, while certain activities could yield gold, they aren't always worth your time (unless you're RPing as woodcutter, which is perfect). Old as the world's largest food festival and money-making pastime is not the most cost-effective way to earn gold in OSRS but it's also the chillest, by far. Sadly non-membership players are limited to catching lobsters in Musa Point near Port Sarim, which turns out to yield around 20k gold per hour. This isn't the best value however, if you've gained membership and want to find a way to increase your angling skills Catching infernal eels will yield about 280k gold in an hour even though they're almost dead. You don't even require the feathers lures. If you're not scared of PKers and want something a tad more intensive dark crabs can be found for cheap RuneScape gold you making 380k gold an hour.
