As the title says, can ferrets get calluses on their feet? Lexy's back paws has bit of yellow, hard parts on her back paws and a tiny bit on her front paws. She's a very, very active crazy girl who climbs things like crazy! Her diet, stool, energy level, and overall behaviour is absolutely normal for her since I've had her past 2 years. She's just an adorable yet rambunctious little girl.

Should I be concerned or do your ferrets have it too? Ramsey and Max dont have any, but they're much more laidback compared to Lexy and only climbing they do is my bed haha

I would say it's possible, especially if you have carpet instead of hard wood floors because of the friction on their paws. None of my ferrets have that issue, but we have hard wood. I would say as long as they don't grow larger or become painful, they are fine. Maybe have your vet look at them the next time she goes, but I wouldn't make an appointment just for that unless they were hurting her.
