I need help with my biter.

Hello all ferret lovers... I have had my two girls for 5 months now, I bought them from a small store in my town. I was told that they were a year old when I bought them, one is named Sophie, she came with the name and is an absolute sweetheart but my other furbaby named Peppi by my husband was an avid biter... With a bit of love she seemed to stop biting as much but the past month she has been biting again, enough to break the skin. She is the cuddle bug of the two and is more interactive so I don't see why she's biting. I have tried the scruff and slide method and the time out but I am having no luck (this is since I bought her) She just yawns to say she gives and then revenge bites. She will also snuggle up with me and give me kisses, but if she licks my arm forehead ( any part of me aside from my cheeks and lips for that matter) she will bite after a few licks. Please help, I love my baby and would love to be able to trust her if I have short sleeved clothes on.

That's exactly how Rosa was. Licking means she wants down, we finally figured out. So now when she licks, we say no or ahahah and scruff before she bites, She's gotten much better. Or, you could put her down when she licks, but that's kind of rewarding bad behavior. Once she gets trained, you can start putting her down when she wants.

Thank you I will definitely try that! Do you have any advice for her biting for when she's on the floor and biting at us? I know that they don't like bitter apple but I don't really want to put bitter apple on myself or anyone else she tends to bite haha.

Eh, I don't know. The scruff/drag always worked for me. One of my favorites, Eddie, would ambush the back of my knees. I got so frustrated once when he sank his teeth in that I scruffed him with MY teeth and dragged him, He never bit me again. BUT, he never really played the same either. He would go for long walks with me off the leash but he lost his "kitness".
