schedule?

I know ferrets should have variety in their diet...Whole prey, canned, kibble, raw. However, how do I establish a feeding schedule? I know kibble (as told from fuzzy experts) should be left out 24/7. But what about when I want to give them variety? For example: Would I take my ferrets out of their cage (leave their kibble in there) Then let them play around fro a while. After I let them play around for about fifteen minutes, would I put down a bowl with canned food in it? Then let's say the next day, raw? I'm just confused how to put them on a schedule when they need access to kibble 24/7 along with variety in their diets. Once again, thanks for the answers! Everyone on this forum have been very HELPFUL to me! And although I have done A LOT research, I am learning new things. I love that I am learning new things from ferret experts; and not from "mysterious" sources on the internet.
