Hello from Meechy and Veronica in Canada!
-
Saturday, October 11, 2014 4:54 PM
Hello guys My name is Veronica, and I am from Canada, BC. 2 months ago i became the lucky parent of my baby boy Meechy. I have wanted a fuzzie for years but my mom always said no, so finally when I moved out, you bet it was the first thing i did! He is about 4 months now, and a biig boy, aaand a handful! Im so lucky, as litter training him was a breeze. I am currently sitting in my room watching him attempt to drag my boot behind my dresser. So hello and thanks for having me, and any tips or advice are welome! :)

Welcome to the group! He is a big'un. I love his markings. Our Yoshi was huge from 5 to 9 months, but suddenly he lost all of his "baby fat" and he's a normal 2 3/4 lbs.

I think I was really lucky with the litter training...lol. Rambo is such a cute name, I love it! I am looking for a friend for him, a little girl im thinking, and im scared litter training anyone else will suck in comparison since he was so good!

Hahaha thanks unclejoe. Baby fat sounds like a good explanation! I love his chunkiness so hopefully he doesn't slim out too much! He isnt a marshalls ferret, he's a "real canadian" ferret, and i read that they tend to be biggger...so maybe thats it too! Its funny, i had no idea he was big until my friend who is a vet tech (and mom to 4 ferrets) saw him for the first time and said "hes huge!" thanks for the welcome guys :)

I'm not saying Meechy won't stay big, but it was like my fuzzy water balloon sprung a leak. He lost it in a short time. 9 months old Now
