Endosorb for ferret???
-
Thursday, October 02, 2014 7:43 PM
Hello just wondering it it was safe to give to ferret to have endosorb? i cannnot find any info online and my vet does not take care of very many ferrets. My little guy Zoey had a intestinal blockage (passed the green rubber material at the vet) she gave SQ fluids and endosorb, I do not want ti give it until I know it is ok. He is still not feeling well, shivering, and tired or lethargic. I think he was up most the night trying to poop. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch

I have never heard of endosorb. Many of us on this forum either used plain canned pumpkin (not the kind with spices) or even plain petroleum jelly, to push blockages out.

Endosorb is to treat Diarrhea, I think the blockage has resolved.
