Here are the first 6 ingredients (makes up a majority of the food)

Three of them are grains. Ideally, you want at
least 4 of the first 6 ingredients to be
meat based. Since ferrets are obligate carnivores they get all necessary nutrition from meat. They can't digest grains.
Feeding grain-heavy foods makes them smellier, they poop more, and can contribute to insulinoma.
IMVHO there are MUCH better foods out there.
I'd consult this food chart for more comparisons. Ideal foods are in the green sections.
